Position Summary: This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, core banking applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, troubleshooting and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers, data backup processes and procedures and associated equipment. The position's responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Duties & Responsibilities: 1) Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines. 2) Works with third party vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment, server based applications and other related software. 3) Provide user support and technical issue resolution. 4) Configure PC software to deliver core banking applications and Microsoft Office application suite. 5) Perform management of new user accounts for network, core banking applications and remote access, including account creation and deletion. 6) Manages the daily operation of the Help Desk system and coordinates support ticket distribution and resolution. 7) Assumes additional responsibilities as required. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills: Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. Ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications. Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized. Experience with computer hardware and software issues. Proficient in core banking applications including Fiserv and add on applications. Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Two years of training from college or technical school; or one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of PC applications, client server applications, LAN and WAN infrastructure and core banking applications including Fiserv platform applications.
