What you'll be doing: * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements * Capacity to take measurements and calculate resources needed to perform and complete task or project * Fabricate, cut, shape and install wood and other material according to specifications * Perform repair work on furniture * Provide quality workmanship with attention to detail * Operate hand tools, performing all work in a safe manner What we're looking for: * Skilled in general carpentry, cabinetry and lamination * Solid knowledge of wood properties, experience in working with carpentry materials * Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction * Good understanding of basic math * Be at least 18 years of age * Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. * Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation * Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time * Able to follow directions and work safely Founded in 1991, Rooms To Go is one of the largest and fastest growing furniture retailers in the US with over 250 stores in ten southern states, eight distribution centers and an e-commerce business.
