Jr Software Tester OASYS, INC., a Leading Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Jr Software Tester. Job Responsibilities include: The Jr Software Tester will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. This individual will also develop test plans and test schedules while also writing test cases and identifying data for test scenarios. Additional duties will include conducting walk throughs on test cases/scripts with Test Managers, Requirements Leads, Project Managers, and Development Leads, performing tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects, perform verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environment, and document and communicate test results. Minimum Requirements: * 0-3 years of experience with software testing * Experience with automated test execution * Experience with software test tools utilized to simulate data input and/or capture data * Experience integrating and troubleshooting software and hardware within a simulation environment * Experience with formal software qualification processes and artifacts as well as experience creating formal test documentation * Ability to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel. Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
