We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location. POSITION DETAILS * Business Operations * Participate in business planning * Analyze and evaluate measurable data to determine effectiveness of business strategies and action plans; recommend and direct the implementation of changes as needed * Develops action plans for resolving undesirable business results and consumer concerns in collaboration with Senior Executive Director. * Review and recommend marketing and community engagement strategies to ensure program viability and that needs of area served are met * Act as chief liaison to the community-at-large * Ensure appropriate program staffing * Ensure the broadest range of services to meet the identified community need in correspondence with the assigned managed care/county/state mandate * Monitor procedural and operating practices for all services in keeping with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements * Fiscal Management and Performance Compliance * Collaborate with executive and program management and fiscal analyst in the budget process, identifying trends and profitability concerns, and making appropriate recommendations to address business growth and/or needed improvement. * Leads partnership with QCO and Executive Director of Policy, Program Fidelity and Staff Development, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed to ensure performance standards are met/exceeded * Organization Mission and Strategy * Collaborate with Division Executive Team and other supporting departments in development of long-term and short-term strategic goals for region/programs * Clearly communicates and emulates mission, goals, and policies of Merakey and division to direct reports, and creates and implements strategies for those in the assigned region/programs to accomplish them. * Maintain an overview which ensures that all plans and practices fit with overall goals set by the Strategic Plan * Inter-Agency liaison working collaboratively within the Merakey matrix environment to include Senior Management, Service Line Leaders, Human Resources, Fiscal and support staff. * Ensure the highest quality of care * Leadership/People Management * Build a best-in-class team and serve as a coach and mentor to team members * Teach, communicate and demonstrate behavior in support of Merakey Core Values * Provide on-going guidance, mentoring, feedback and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to corporate and division policies and procedures, regulations and payer requirements * Reviews the performance of direct reports, providing coaching, including soft skills and technical training, for improving overall performance. * Recommend, conduct and/or make decisions in personnel-related matters (hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations). * As a senior leader in the organization, serve as a role model to foster a collaborative, high achieving and supportive environment across all departments within and outside of service line.
