Staff Software Engineer
Location: New York, NY
Job Description
Responsible for workflows that support the referral process, including developing and maintaining models that are
fundamental to the company's product and data. Participate in and lead large, strategic, complex, multi-person projects
that cross multiple engineering teams. Provide technical direction to other engineers on their technical designs
including patterns and implementation details. Lead projects that improve stability, performance, and scalability across
multiple systems. Build and implement scalable solutions to eliminate barriers to achieving goals. Participate in the
creation of roadmaps and ensuing feedback. Evaluation and create new product features based on customer needs in
collaboration with the product team. Work to simplify product and technical design through collaboration with
members of the Technology department. Leverage industry knowledge to solve technical problems and to anticipate
future needs to make design decisions that minimize the cost of future changes. Position reports to worksite location,
however, the incumbent can work from home anywhere in the United States. Annual salary between: $175,000.00 -
$195,000.00. Benefits: Paid Parental Leave; 401K Match; Flexible Vacation Time; Medical, Dental and Vision

Job Requirements
The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or
closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 4 years (48 months) of experience with all the
following: (a) working with front-end platform development including planning product features, conducting
feasibility assessments, and creating roadmaps and technical designs that involve patterns and implementation plans;
(b) building systems for stability, performance and scalability; (c) developing and conducting automated testing; (d)
optimizing and maintaining product features; (e) completing third party integrations and; (f) utilizing all the following
tools/technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), native cloud development,
GitHub, and Unix ,Windows and Linux operating systems. Position reports to worksite location, however, the
incumbent can work from home anywhere in the United States. All experience may be gained concurrently.
