Responsibilities: * Analyze market conditions and purchasing requirements, coordinating with departments on quantity and delivery needs. * Meet with supplier representatives, obtain quotations, negotiate agreements, and maintain regular contact for quality assurance and delivery schedules. * Handle invoice discrepancies and negotiate adjustments with vendors. * Maintain awareness of evolving requirements and implement appropriate business controls and documentation. * Utilize tracking and reporting systems to address routine issues and recommend solutions. * Solid understanding of inventory management, MRP, and production schedules. Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED required. * Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics assembly and product qualification within manufacturing. * Proficiency with IPC-A-610 standards. * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel - VLookup, Pivot Tables, Charts, PowerPoint), Visio, and database software. * Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes, test and repair codes. * Willingness to travel up to 25% to support quality issues, production startups, or product transfers. * Experience with AS9100, Six-sigma, or lean principles preferred.
