ProMach's Financial Shared Service Organization (FSS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Billing Manager to join their Accounts Receivable Team. The position is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and reports to the Senior Accounting Manager, Order to Cash. This is a hybrid role with Mondays and Fridays work from home. The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing operations and ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of invoices. This role involves managing a team of billing specialists, streamlining billing processes, driving automation initiatives, and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve billing issues. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to develop people. This is a hybrid role with Mondays and Fridays work from home. Are you passionate about this work? * Direct and lead daily billing activities such as billing cycles, portal invoicing, customer follow-ups and support to AR Team, and stakeholders, to ensure accurate and timely billing. * Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner. * Drive continued billing automation with SideTrade to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of customer invoice delivery. * Reduce manual billing portal entry volume and increase e-Invoicing volume. * Partner with Collections to ensure portal invoice issues are resolved timely and root causes are documented. * Implement and maintain best practice billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. * Monitor billing team's performance against established service level agreements and ensure they are hitting defined goals and targets. * Provide training and learning and development support to billing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. * Ensure proper internal controls are in place and operating effectively, and compliance with all relevant regulations. * Ability to gather, analyze data and create reports for presentation to Management. * Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Manage and drive customer onboarding onto SideTrade's portal billing solution, including configuration, testing and implementation. * Support system administration, system optimization, and end-user training. * Analyze workflow, processes, and operational measures to identify, quantify, and justify recommended improvements to billing and automation processes. * Participate in, and lead where appropriate, cross functional teams related to process harmonization and other applicable initiatives. * Identify issues and root causes to seek out and create solutions. * Implement continuous improvement practices and culture into the team. Does this sound like you? * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. * 3-5+ years in a lead type role and/or progressive experience in Order to Cash. * Proven experience with Billing management. * Experience with customer portal invoicing such as Coupa, Ariba, Tungsten, Taulia. * Must have experience with an ERP system and use of automation tools. * Strong organizational, team building and leadership skills and the ability to work and navigate within a complex matrixed organization. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, customer service and relationship management skills. * Proactive, persistent, and persuasive. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet mutual objectives and deadlines.
