Qualifications: * Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing required. * Must have a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania and have nursing experience involving direct patient care within the last two years required. * Master's degree is required. * Baccalaureate degree in nursing with a MSN completion plan will be considered if no MSN candidates are available. * A minimum of two years of experience as a nurse educator is preferred. * Experience with simulation-based learning/virtual simulation is preferred. * In addition, applicant shall give evidence of maintaining expertise in medical surgical, maternal child health and/or geriatric clinical area. * Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required. Duties & Responsibilities: * Applicants will be responsible for classroom, clinical and clinical simulation instruction and supervision of the students enrolled in the practical nursing program. * Organizing and coordinating the Skills labs at TCHS Brandywine and TCHS Pickering campuses. * Responsibilities may include day and evening assignments, inclusive of the summer months. * Assists in formulating policies for the selection and promotion of students. * Plans, develops and implements diverse teaching strategies aimed at facilitating achievement of student learning outcomes and overall program outcomes. 2024-2025 Salary Schedule: * Inst 1/Voc 1: $56,355 - $87,396 * Master's: $62,567 - $99,261 * Master's + 15: $65,284 - $103,169 * placement on the scale is determined by previous similar experience Schedule: * Please note that this position does not necessarily follow a typical school year calendar as our program runs year round. Location: * Based on student enrollment needs, the instructor may be assigned at the TCHS-Brandywine, TCHS-Pennock's Bridge, or TCHS-Pickering Campuses as needed.
