Values: Curious & Creative Hungry For Food & Results Entrepreneurial Forward Thinking & Flexible Supportive (Of Peers & Chefs) JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Supply Chain - Specialist Location: Ridgefield, CT Department: Supply Chain Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned. * Supply Chain Solutions Development, Implementation, and Optimization * Support development, implementation, and optimization Supply Chain software & process solutions * Drive adoption of tools and reporting metrics through review and education of end users * Supply Chain Reporting and Analysis * Collaborate with leadership on ad-hoc analysis and projects to drive supply chain efficiency and cost management * Drive inventory analysis to identify opportunities for improved stock levels * Drive adoption of Supply Chain tools and best practices through targeted reporting, analysis, and outreach * Support demand planning enhancement through reporting, analysis and outreach * Cross-Functional Collaboration with: * IT, Pricing, Category Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, Sales Qualifications * Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university preferred * Previous food service distribution and/or food importing experience a plus *
  • Proficient technical skills, including a basic understanding of software development, IT systems, operating systems, network/infrastructure administration, and service desk support * Large-scale project management & change management experience preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Suite, most importantly Excel, Planner and Power Platform * Competencies and/or Attributes: * Must be a team player with a positive attitude * Excellent verbal/written communication skills * Self-starter, professional, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks *
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to excel in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment * Flexible and able to work well with: * Various departments - both internally & externally * Multiple projects/initiatives at the same time * Frequent changes in prioritization * Highly comfortable with technology #LI-SL1 #LI-Onsite The above job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
