Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in providing engineering support for design, configuration, installation, and sustainment of all software and hardware infrastructure, including Patch and Vulnerability Management.
* Assist the Lead in developing engineering plans as needed for integration, reconfiguration, staging, and installation of VOC and COOP equipment.
* Assist in coordinating with DLA COMSEC personnel and Data Center managers for secure devices within the secure VTC infrastructure and requesting rack space, power, and connections for infrastructure devices.
* Assist in coordinating the creation of subnets and VLANs for the VTC, IP/TV DS infrastructure during new installations under the supervision of the Lead.
* Provide technical escalation support for all VTC, SV, and IPTV/DIGITAL SIGNAGE trouble-tickets unresolved by the VOC Technical Admins, under the guidance of the Lead.
* Assist in the engineering and integration of DLA VTC, SV, and IPTV/DIGITAL SIGNAGE infrastructure with upcoming DoD VTC programs and initiatives.
* Assist in providing site installation and network drawings as required under the supervision of the Lead.
* Assist in coordinating with Cable TV vendors on the configuration of source devices like QAM to IP Ucrypt systems.
* Provide technical expertise in lifecycle replacement, testing, and evaluation of VTC, SV, and IPTV/DIGITAL SIGNAGE infrastructure components and new technologies, with guidance from the Lead.
* Document engineering changes and assist in providing required engineering Change Requests to the ETN Configuration Control Board under the supervision of the Lead.
* Assist in recommending and implementing component and configuration changes in support of the VOC and COOP, ensuring compliance with applicable DISA VTC, SV, and IPTV/DIGITAL SIGNAGE STIGs, Federal IA policies/regulations, DoD IA policies, and US CYBERCOM directives/tasks.
* Assist in providing over-the-shoulder training and/or familiarization to DLA personnel on VOC activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience:
* Two to Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas including networking and/or Cisco Video Tele-Conferencing.
* At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
* Additional experience in the Video Teleconferencing arena, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting VTCs in a dynamic environment.
* Certifications:
* DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
* CCNA Security
* CySA+
* GICSP
* GSEC
* Security+ CE
* SSCP
* CND
* Computing Environment Certification (One of the following):
* Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) v1.0
* Implementing Cisco Certified Technician Supporting Cisco Devices (CLTECH)
* Clearance:
* Must possess Secret Clearance with IT-I Sensitivity
