Job summary: Assemble wood cabinets from engineering drawing utilizing a variety of different tools and equipment Responsibilities: * Installation and fabrication of cabinet components and hardware * Laminate, sand and paint cabinets and panels as needed * Final assembly of parts and hardware * Meet all QA and QC standards for each task * Function with minimal amount of supervision * Close attention to detail * Meet standards of safety and 5S * Work from work orders and drawings * Promote use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture * Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance per company policy * Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. * Report repetitive quality issues * Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment): * Preferred 5+ yrs experience in cabinet making or similar experience * Ability to read, write comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English * Ability to read and use a linear and other measuring devises * Familiar with various tools; drills, screw gun, table saw, band saw and router * Ability to use basic mathematics * Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards * Ability to recognize quality expected and be able to reproduce it Physical Demands: Thy physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
