An executive caregiver who excels in this role, will: · Develop strategic plans for nursing, including mechanisms to ensure quality and adherence to standards. · Lead design and implementation of assigned business plans. · Collaborate with and medical staff to develop and measure performance standards. · Create continuous improvement environment promoting innovative patient care delivery and current research findings. · Develop and mentor nurse leaders and direct staff to achieve hospital goals, nursing objectives and nursing practice standards. · Measure budgetary performance against standards and ensures variances are within targets. Education: * BSN required. * Master's in Nursing, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration required Certifications: * Registered Nurse (RN) License in the current State. Competencies (Complexity of Work): * Requires strong verbal and interpersonal skills. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
