Time Type: Full time Department: CC017665 Quality Improvement Summary: Quality Improvement Department - Hospital/clinic experience strongly preferred * either PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Certificate required - 2 yrs process improvement work exp required - Full-time (40 hrs/wk) Leads process improvement studies by analyzing data, work systems and flows to find ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve patient satisfaction; translates data into information for managing change and facilitating meetings of improvement teams in each area. Coaches all levels of the organization on how to properly execute improvement science methodology such as the Model for Improvement or Lean Six Sigma; demonstrates appropriate utilization of the various tools available to drive change. Additional Information: * Hospital/clinic experience strongly preferred * 2 yrs process improvement work exp required * 1 of the following certifications required: either PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Certificate Required Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recommended Education: Master's Degree Required Work Experience: Related Field - 2 years of experience Recommended Work Experience: Required Certifications: 1 of the following certifications is required - Recommended Certifications: Lean Certificate - Lean Certificate, Project Management Professional (PMP) - , Six Sigma - - Description 1. Develops clear project charters with well-defined, SMART aim and obtains supervisor and customer sign-off for each project. 2. Facilitates project teams effectively to complete process improvement projects throughout the organization. 3. Supports improvement projects by providing guidance and recommendations and assisting with data collection and analysis. 4. Responsible for reporting performance measures. 5. Trains and mentors new Process Improvement employees, Improvement U students and other employees in the organization on the effective application of process improvement tools and methodologies. 6. Works with organizational leadership to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, employee engagement, and patient experience. 7. Performs other duties as assigned.
