This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.   We're seeking a team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Release Train Engineer to join our team.  This role will be in Pittsburgh, PA   The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows: * Facilitation: Facilitate development events and processes, assisting teams in delivering value.  * Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.  * Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and integration by leading and/or participating in lean-agile transformations.  * Coaching: Coach leadership, teams, and Scrum Masters in SAFe and agile mindsets and processes.  * Program Management: Work with the Agile Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellence.  * Lean Budget Management: Understand and operate within Lean Budgets, ensuring adherence to Guardrails.  * Flow Optimization: Manage and optimize the flow through the program, facilitating PI Planning and readiness.  * Objective Aggregation: Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives.  * Impediment Management: Escalate and track impediments, ensuring strategy and execution alignment.  * Risk Management: Help manage risks and dependencies, reporting status to relevant parties.  * Agile Practices: Implement Agile Program Management, Agile Tools and Methodologies, Change Management, DevOps Practices, Lean Methodology, Lean User Experience, and Value Realization.  * Mentoring and Teaching: Provide effective facilitation, teaching methods, and mentoring approaches.  * Decision Making: Drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties.  * Team Orientation: Promote team orientation, collaboration, and servant leadership.  To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:   * Education: Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.  * Experience: 10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.  * Agile Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and methods.  * Organizational Understanding: Understands company organizational model, structure, and Agile journey history.  * Facilitation Skills: Effective facilitation and teaching methods.  * Coaching Skills: Proficient in coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two.  * Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts.  * Project Management: Experience successfully running agile projects of varying size and complexity.    Competencies:  * Agile Leadership (Advanced)  * Agile Methodologies (Expert)  * Budgeting (Intermediate)  * Business Process Improvement (Intermediate)  * Cross Functional Team Leadership (Advanced)  * Enterprise Architecture (Beginner)  * Facilitation (Advanced)  * Kanban (Advanced)  * Lean (Advanced)  * Program Management (Intermediate)  * Project Management (Intermediate)  * Project Planning (Intermediate)  * Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) (Expert)  * Scrum (Advanced)  * Servant Leadership (Advanced)  * Vendor Management (Intermediate)  * Written and Oral Communication (Advanced)    At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
