Senior Business Operations Manager TV & Radio San Diego, CA | Full Time Summary This position is responsible for managing the business operations of the local television and radio markets for the company's San Diego, El Centro and Tijuana operations. Essential Functions * Manage the business operations of the San Diego, El Centro and Tijuana local television and radio markets. * Manage the accounting (full cycle AR: sales order approval, credit and collections, customer payments; AP invoices, etc.), administering payroll and HR functions (sales commissions, timesheets, job postings, employee onboarding, etc.) for 65 employees, FCC compliance, financial and business operations, budgeting, forecasting and audit. Competencies * Excellent organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple work projects daily * Technical capability to learn multiple software systems * Communication proficiency * Professionalism, discretion, independent judgement, and leadership * Teamwork Required Education and Experience * 5+ years of accounting or comparable experience. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration * Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP required. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Preferred Education and Experience * Experience in the Broadcast industry strongly preferred. * General understanding of Mexican accounting regulations and foreign exchange (FX) accounting preferred * Spanish language skills preferred.
