Are you an experienced Project Planner, normally setting the bar high, and motivated to work with and learn from high performing specialist and project leadership teams - then you might be the candidate we are looking for. Vestas Technology & Operations > Vestas R&D > Nacelles R&D > Converter & Electrical Module > C&E Project Management Within the business unit Vestas Technology & Operations, the Converter & Electrical (C&E) Module is responsible for the technology and product development of the wind turbine's frequency converters, their control, high-voltage transformers, switchgears, and cables. C&E's Project Management is the organizational supporting sub-module holding the responsibility to lead the projects and teams to the agreed project end state, in respect to time, cost, and scope. The team consists of approx. 10 Project Managers sited in Aarhus (DK), Porto (Portugal), Chennai (India). Responsibilities In the position as Project Planner you will work closely together with Project Managers and Technical leads in securing the planning on the projects are all linked in the right way, to maintain and monitor the projects throughout execution in the most simplistic and transparent way. As we are planning on many levels the efficiency in transforming data in all levels into a reporting format is key. Besides from supporting projects in planning the Project Planner will be involved as a key player in improving our cross-project synergies and in general ways og working with executional accuracy. More specifically the main responsibilities will include: * Support Project Managers and Technical Lead in setting up the projects in various planning systems in the right governance and quality * Secure strong linking in all levels of planning (level A-B-C) throughout various tools, to secure efficient monitoring and reporting in the executional part of the projects. * Monitoring risks and issues related to planning aspects of the projects tasks vs milestones. * Coach, mentor, lead sub-module planners to secure best practice across all projects * It is expected also to support building and developing planning accuracy processes, tools, and best practices within the Converter & Electrical organization, in collaboration with Project Managers and Technical Leads. Qualifications * Engineering- and/or Business degree at bachelor's level * Min. 2-5 years of proven experience in planning og project management role on complex projects in large global organization. * Relevant project management education or training is a plus * Relevant certifications within Prince2, IPMA or similar and/or Agile methods is a plus * Experienced user of project/planning tools such as MS-Project, SAP PPM and JIRA * Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English is a must Competencies * You are pro-active, results-oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility. * You master to work independently and can communicate / report progress in a simple manner * Experienced in communicating with stakeholders at many levels * You are motivated to work with advanced project management tools/ process creation, KPI's and project performance metrics. * Capable of identifying and breaking down project scope to concrete deliverables within professional area * You master the "can do it mindset" What we offer * We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, dynamic, high performing and international work environment in the renewable energy sector. * You will be able to build a large network across a global organization with excellent opportunities for cross disciplinary and personal development.
