Role Summary: The Composites Technician is instrumental in building and assembling various composite components for our state-of-the-art drones. This role requires a combination of technical know-how, attention to detail, and hands-on skills to ensure the production of high-quality and durable drone parts. Key Responsibilities: * Composite Layup and Assembly: Fabricate and assemble composite parts using molds, hand tools, and automated machinery. * Quality Assurance: Inspect and test composite materials and parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. * Material Preparation: Prepare composite materials for layup, including cutting, measuring, and mixing resins. * Tooling and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair molds, tools, and equipment used in the composite fabrication process. * Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other technicians to interpret plans and specifications. * Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest composite materials, fabrication techniques, and industry best practices. * Adaptability: Quickly adapt to new fabrication processes and materials as our drone technology evolves. Qualifications: * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with composite materials in a manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of composite fabrication processes, including layup, curing, and trimming. * Familiarity with composite inspection and testing methods. * Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
