Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
* Organize and participate in public forums, workshops, and events to engage the community in economic development efforts.
* Foster relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and government agencies to promote economic development initiatives.
* Assist in identifying and securing grants and funding opportunities to support economic development projects.
* Provide support to local businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and startups in navigating regulatory processes and accessing resources.
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of economic development projects and initiatives.
* May serve as liaison with the Claremont Development Authority
Ideal candidates will possess:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Planning, Business Development, Community Development, Public Administration, or related field.
* Proven experience in economic development, project management, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary of $61,778.28 to $99,490.25/Year DOE
