Accounting Supervisors can expect any of the following responsibilities: * Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and financials reporting. * Participate in regular year end, bank and tax audits. . * Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts. * Oversee and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). * Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities. * Review and analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement. * Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide training, coaching and development opportunities for the accounting team. * Provide regular updates to management regarding company finances. * Develop and implement financial and operational controls and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting. * 5+ years Accounting principles and regulations plus AP/AR; Tax Audit; GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and financial analysis. * 2+ years supervisory experience * Strong leadership and management skills to effectively supervise and motivate a team. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent attention to detail. * Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
