Job Details * Full-time 40-hour work weeks. * Support the Risk Assessment and Compliance team * Salary is up to $100,000 based on education and experience. Responsibilities * Serve as a liaison with OMES management, OMES technical service delivery teams, state entities and regulatory entities regarding privacy and IT compliance requirements.* * Serve as the lead for the privacy and IT compliance team, managing the assigned projects and responsibilities as well as being an escalation point.* * Coordinate audit response assistance to state entities.* * Provide regulatory compliance recommendations, supporting documentation, privacy impact assessments and related assistance to internal and external stakeholders.* * Serve as agency privacy officer.* * Develop process, lead through implementation and conduct eDiscovery and background check efforts on behalf of OMES.* * Coordinate drafting of IT security and privacy standards.* * Provide verbal and written reports to executive leadership on program progress, maturity and identified risks.* Physical Demands and Work Environment This position works in a comfortable office setting in front of a computer for a large percentage of the work day. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information security or an equivalent field. * 5 + years' experience in IT compliance or privacy lead positions. Preference will be given to candidates who possess * Strong knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, industry standards and best practices. * Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO, NIST or PCI DSS.
