A vacancy exists for an Early Head Start Continuous Quality Improvement and Data Coordiantor within the CCIU's Division of Student Services. These position will be providing supporting Early Head Start Servcces in the 10 counties closest to Chester County, including Chester, Philadelphia, Montgomery, Lancaster, Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Delaware, Berks, Lebanon, Dauphin, York, Adams, Cumberland, Perry, and Franklin Counties. Summary: The Early Head Start Continuous Quality Improvement and Data Coordinator's main responsibility is to coordinate and oversee student information systems and program statistical information. This position will be responsible to update and maintain all Early Head Start program databases and to facilitate accurate and efficient data input by Early Head Start staff. This position meets regularly with supervisors, educators, secretaries, IT personnel, and accounting personnel to promote reliable data input, use and understanding, and to enhance existing data systems and procedures. This position will be responsible for reporting data to Office of Head Start (OHS), OCDEL and other related government agencies. This position will provide support to Early Head Start supervisors, and staff to determine and implement continuous quality improvement goals in the program. This position will provide support to staff in the areas of student information systems and education software systems. This position will be the primary contact for all administrative and operation functions related to Early Head Start databases. Essential Job Responsibilities: * Coordinate program demographic and statistical information in GoEngage, Pelican, and other databases required. Update databases as students are enrolled, exited, or transition out of the program. Update student data as required. Update staffing lists as needed. Create new accounts for staff as required. Create new forms as needed to capture required data. * Maintain student records, compliance dates, and staff assignments in GoEngage and Pelican. Audit data regularly for bridge errors, data entry errors, and other information. * Provide IT/systems support in the areas of student information and program data management. Generate reports and data verification as requested by program administrators. * Develop systems/charts/graphs/projections to track student demographics and to support programming decisions encountered by supervisors. * Develop systems and procedures to train staff in order to maintain the integrity of all data entered into database systems. Attend and facilitate trainings and meetings to develop and implement new procedures to ensure accurate data for all aspects of the program. * Assign in person interviews to program staff based on pre-application information. Ensure timely completion of enrollment documents. * Collaborate with IT division, follow IT guidelines and function as a local "first tier" of support, and escalating to IT, when appropriate. * Prepare and submit required reports to districts, state, and federal agencies. * Provide support to staff in the use of various computer application programs: word processing, database, spreadsheets, and other computer applications. * Maintain HIPPA and FERPA Regulations with regard to student/staff data. * Coordinate and track special projects. * Support other program positions as needed including purchasing related tasks. * Perform additional duties as needed and specified by new mandates and requirements. Qualifications: Education and Experience: * High school Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred * 3+ years relevant data entry experience required * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Student Information Systems required * Experience working in education setting strongly preferred Professional or Other Required Clearances * Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year required Anticipated Salary Range: Project, Level 13, $57,290/yr. - $72,400/yr. * Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role. 260 day position, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week LB Equal Opportunity Employer Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
