Position: In-House Corporate Lawyer Experience: 10-12 years PQE Location: Gurgaon Reporting To: General Counsel, Deloitte South Asia The Team : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Corporate Lawyer with 10-12 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with the GC and be responsible for providing legal support across various corporate matters. This role requires a strong foundation in corporate law, familiarity with FEMA and FDI regulations, strong experience in contract drafting and transactional work. The ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent research skills and a good understanding of the laws such as Companies Act, LLP Act, Intellectual Property laws and IBC regulations. Work you'll do: * Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate law matters, including aspects related to contracting. * Familiarity with SEBI regulations relating to LODR and Insider Trading. * Advise on matters related to Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) * Conduct thorough research on relevant case laws to support legal strategies * Stay updated with recent legal developments and their implications on the Firm. * Provide expertise in matters related to the Companies Act and LLP Act. * Advise on the legal aspects of corporate transactions and internal policies. * Lead and support various corporate transactions, negotiations, and drafting of transaction documents. * Work closely with external counsel and other stakeholders during transactional processes. * Review a wide range of contracts, including Master Services Agreement, Terms of Use, Work Orders etc. * Be familiar with DPDP Act, GDPR implications in cross border contracts. * Assistance in developing policies for the firm from risk and quality perspective. * Assistance in preparing material (presentations) for workshops & training programs. * Other legal matters Qualifications: * LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification from a recognized institution. * 10-12 years of PQE in corporate law, preferably with experience in both law firms and in-house legal departments. * Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders. * Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
