Title: IET Program Coordinator Agency: Northern VA Community College Location: Prince William - 153 FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: $70,000 - $83,000 Full Time or Part Time: Full Time Additional Detail Job Description: General Description: The IET Program Coordinator reports to the Vice President of IET and College Computing and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting TTIP-related initiatives within the IET division. The IET Program Coordinator will provide management and oversight of TTIP-related projects in IET through the various phases of development (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure) and will be accountable for executing and developing plans, monitoring progress against goals, accomplishing program goals, and evaluating outcomes. This position will be required to engage, communicate, and work with internal and external stakeholders related to TTIP/IET program development and provide administrative support to project/program leads. Duties and Tasks: * Provides TTIP-related project management, coordination, and execution of complex administrative activities related to academic programming and enrollment, fiscal management, human resources, procurement, and other administrative activities. * Supports the IET Dean and Director of Strategic Initiatives in the management and coordination of existing and on-going TTIP-related program activities under their direction. * Oversees and coordinates the activities of TTIP-related special projects and new initiatives established within or supported by the IET division. * Supports IET leadership, faculty and staff in execution of TTIP-related project outcomes. * Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met. This position is restricted and is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the College. Minimum Qualifications: Required KSAs: * Skilled in project planning, time management and priority setting. * Good interpersonal skills, including listening, and the ability to work with a diverse group. * Knowledge of budgeting; * Knowledge of organizational practices; * Ability to work independently; * Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Skill in both written and verbal communication. * Strong Organizational and problem solving skills. Minimum Requirements * Experience with project management. * Experience working at an an institution of higher education. * Experience working with and knowledge of academic programming in higher education. * Experience with budgeting. * Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Additional Considerations * Project management experience within a community college. * Experience working with faculty within a community college. * Experience working with military partners and military contracts.
