Americare Senior Living named as one of the 2022 Best Workplaces in Aging Services Position Summary: The Assistant Administrator is responsible for assisting with administration and management of the Skilled Nursing facility within the authority of established company policies, as well as state and federal regulations. Assist with fiscal operations and accounting practices. Assists with hiring and training of personnel. Additional tasks as assigned by the Skilled Nursing Administrator. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Responsible for assisting in the administration and management of Skilled Nursing facility within authority of established company policies and state and federal regulations. * Assists in the administration fiscal operations, such as budget planning, accounting, and other bookkeeping practices assigned by the administrator. * Under the supervision of the Community Administrator may direct the hiring and training of personnel. * May participate in community meetings and events to develop relationships with internal and external referral sources to enhance the reputation of our brand and occupancy requirements. * May develop or expand community programs involving residents, staff or family members. May be assigned oversight of one or more departments by the Community Manager. * Assists with oversight of person centered care, wellness, customer service, and healthcare related services to meet and exceed our resident and family expectations. * Adheres to the Americare Mission/Vision, Home Town Hospitality and F.A.M.I.L.Y. Values, Employee Culture Statement and Company Policy and Procedures. Duties / Responsibilities: * Completes other duties as assigned * Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills: Education: * Minimum 18 years of age * Bachelor's Degree/Associate Degree that meets the NAB/State Board of Nursing Home Administrator's Requirements for licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator * Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and/or desire to pursue the Federal and State Requirements for licensure
