Administration/District 3/Upshur County  Under the general supervision of a designated administrative officer, this employee will operate the district communications telephone and radio base station system. Employee will also serve as district office Receptionist with primary responsibility for answering a multi-line phone system and responding to public questions, directing calls, taking messages, and providing agency information to office visitors. Will greet visitors per building security policy and ensure that the public will be provided access to the correct office or personnel. Will log communication received according to FCC rules/regulations and agency policy.  Answer inquiries from the public and provide information, sort and distribute incoming mail. Process and code invoices and prepare regulations and release orders for equipment. Send in ADO's for approval (Agency Delivery Order) for contract purchases, office equipment usage, repair, and ordering of supplies. Will make purchases for the office with a state issued purchasing card. Type correspondence including letters, memos, reports and various forms. Will file various documents.  Must be able to operate basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Must possess excellent writing and communication skills and have a clear pleasant speaking voice. Must have the ability to type. Performs related work as required.
