Job Description We are looking for a Group Leader with analytical chemistry experience to support the development of large molecule therapeutics. Training will be provided and those with existing experience in large molecule experience are encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities * Manage and develop a team of scientists to provide Perform analytical testing of samples to support development of large molecule therapeutics. Plan and coordinate staff training to ensure performance capability. * Manage testing and logistics support to therapeutic programs, e.g. Robustness, Method Development, and other studies. * Manage laboratory support and fractionation to support extended characterization. * Manage and coordinate the sampling, testing, and first level data review. * Frequent communication with client contacts to ensure understanding of deliverables and satisfaction. Ensure timely response to client and internal communications (e.g. emails and meetings). * Take ownership of timely results delivery for the team, through work planning, delegation, and performance management. * Ensure completion of administrative duties, e.g. timecards, performance review, and HR tasks. * Provide leadership to bring out the best of the team, e.g. through one on ones, coaching, organizing events to improve team culture. * Participate in lean lab operation, 6S laboratory layout, preventive action, and continuous improvement programs to reduce operating costs * The Leader will also perform testing if necessary, alongside the Scientists, but primary expectation is to manage the group and take responsibility for delivery of results. * The tests performed will cover CEX, cIEF, CE, HPLC, and other techniques as required by the scope of the therapeutic programs. * Data entry and review. * Experience in ELN records entry and workflow. Good organizational skills highly preferred. * Support laboratory equipment maintenance and management. * Support other areas of the analytical development group as necessary to meet program requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related Science discipline with at least three years laboratory experience. Experience in labs with high volume sample count preferred. Excellent organization skills, with ability to delivery of results within expected turnaround time, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information * Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
