Currently seeking candidates who are interested in a summer internship in the heavy highway/asphalt manufacturing industry. Our dynamic internship program is crafted to educate our interns about various aspects of manufacturing excellence, in the aggregate, construction and manufacturing business, this paid internship spans from May to August, and provides a unique opportunity for students to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world experience in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Through our internship, we hope to offer a rewarding experience, which will help add real world experience to their resume, as well as provide a fresh outlook and feedback on our current practices and processes. To be a strong candidate for this internship, you should have a strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts. #HiringatNYC Manufacturing Intern Compensation $20/hour Manufacturing Intern Main Responsibilities * Develop an assigned project, such as: implement a revised routine maintenance schedule. * Streamline current processes/procedures. * Calculation of quantities of materials for work to be performed (i.e. Asphalt, Gravel) * Compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company. * Tackling additional tasks or projects, as assigned. Manufacturing Intern Education Must be actively working towards a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar program. Manufacturing Intern Skills * Proficient in math, and computers * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility. * Motivated to tackle new challenges, and learn as much as possible.
