The AstraZeneca Mt. Vernon site was established in 1972 and is the flagship site delivering innovative, life changing oral solid medicines. At the site we formulate and pack OSD tablets and capsules for over 60+ markets. The Mt Vernon site is complex, the largest AZ production site in the US with over 700+ employees. We are located in the southwest corner of the state of Indiana, approximately 15 miles from Evansville, Indiana - the third largest city in the state. The Mt. Vernon site is both collaborative and Inclusive. Accountabilities: As a Quality Control Analyst, you will participate in QC Team Discussions, maintain adequate inventories for tasks, and maintain current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. You will support laboratory investigations for known lab errors and OOS results using Trackwise and/or other QC procedures. You may perform sampling activities, support troubleshooting of testing equipment, methods, and processes, and participate in investigations for PET process areas related to QC processes or data. You will execute laboratory processes in compliance with GMPs, site and corporate policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and test methods. Essential Skills/Experience: * Associates Degree/Technical Degree or at least 2-years quality, or relevant technical experience. Desirable Skills/Experience: * Bachelor's Degree. * High level of knowledge and competence with a specific piece of laboratory equipment, or a QC/QA process or system.
