Position Summary The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus. Human Resources & Payroll is recruiting for an office-based administrative position that processes human resources actions on a current basis. This requires organization skills, attention to detail, and accuracy as the work ultimately impacts payroll processing. This position processes a variety of personnel actions as employees are hired, transferred, or promoted, including data entry for multiple position types and payment types. This position also manages the following queues in the Talent Management Software System, for all position types (Adjunct, Temp/Hourly, SHRA, and EHRA) hiring proposals at the onboarding stage of employment. This position conducts intakes with new hires to complete compliance paperwork. In addition, this position provides intake support for non-work study student hires, participates in the front desk coverage rotation, and other duties as assigned. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well and interact with others in a team environment. Experience with Microsoft Office products. Organizational skills with an ability to handle a large volume of actions in multiple systems. Attention to detail and a desire to ensure accuracy in the quality and quantity of work. Knowledge of I-9 procedures helpful. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from a four year college or university; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Anticipated Hiring Range $47,000 - $50,000 Position Type Permanent Full-Time Number of Hours per Week 40 Number of Months per Year 12 Salary Band Range $34,320 - $70,983 Salary Grade For administrative purposes during the implementation of Career Banding this Journey level posiiton is considered a Salary Grade 66.
