We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Engineering, responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of this transformative initiative. Overview As the Vice President of Engineering for the Intuitive Servicing Portal Initiative, you will be a key driver in shaping the future of our company. Reporting directly to the Global Servicing and Corporate Technology Head Engineer, you will lead a talented engineering team to deliver a cutting-edge, user-centric portal that enhances customer engagement and satisfaction. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in delivering complex software solutions and a deep understanding of the global servicing landscape. Key Responsibilities * Strategic Leadership * Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Intuitive Servicing Portal Initiative, aligning with the company's overall objectives and customer experience goals. * Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. * Team Management * Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, ensuring the recruitment and retention of top talent. * Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and excellence. * Project Oversight * Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of the Intuitive Servicing Portal, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI design, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution. * Technology Innovation * Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. * Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that align with the goals of the Intuitive Servicing Portal Initiative. * Stakeholder Collaboration * Collaborate with key stakeholders, including product managers, marketing, and customer support, to understand requirements and ensure the portal meets customer needs and expectations. * Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to executive leadership and other relevant stakeholders. * Quality Assurance and Compliance * Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes to ensure the Intuitive Servicing Portal meets high standards of functionality, usability, and security. * Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Vice President of Engineering or in a similar leadership role. * Strong track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. * In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture, and emerging technologies. * Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. * Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. * Experience in Financial Services is highly desirable. Depending on factors such as business unit requirements, the nature of the position, cost, and application laws, American Express may provide visa sponsorship for certain positions Salary Range: $210,000.00 to $300,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
