Job Description: The Team We are seeking an exceptional System Analyst with Technical Leadership experience and passion for providing high-quality customer experiences. You will be part of a team responsible for building integration product offerings and client implementations for the Workplace Doman. As a member of this team, you will be operating as a Senior Analyst on newly formed Agile team that's developing Workplace Solution's new externalized domain APIs for our clients and business partners. As a member of this team, you'll play a key role in the analysis, solutioning and development of capabilities which are important to future business strategy as well as externalizing Fidelity's APIs for our clients. In this role you would be expected to work closely with our business and technology partners to conduct analysis, plan project deliveries, and execute them to completion including post go-live warranty. The Expertise You Have * BS or above with exceptional aptitude for business system design and solutions * 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst for application software development * Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies * Deep understanding of scrum tools - Jira, AgileCraft experience desirable. * Ability to distill business processes and objectives into well-defined epics/stories/requirements. * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to tackle issues and work through ambiguous situations by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience and judgment. * Extensive application technology knowledge and recognized expertise in several areas * Extensive Data Analysis skills will be big plus. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and general programming desirable * Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery is a plus. * Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs is a plus. * Highly effective written and verbal communication is a must. * Desire to be organized, highly responsive and committed to quality. The Skills You Bring * Innovative alternatives and re-use opportunities to resolve project and systems issues that span subsystems. * Design of existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability and cost of ownership. * Deep knowledge of key WS record keeping systems is highly desirable as well as an understanding of how data flows across different systems both within and outside. * Analysis on complex systems projects, often across subsystems and companies in a matrix organization * Design and enhance systems based on requirements gathered during the requirements analysis phase - research and identify effective solutions design. * Document objectives, use cases, requirements, and specifications. * Define project scope and document formal specifications describing solutions to achieve requirements. * Consult with business to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business opportunities and lead projects. * Establish full project life cycle plans for projects; may include multiple platforms. * Monitor the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts. * Identify subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large projects. * Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects. * Provide technology solutions to daily issues and manage relationships for ongoing customer experience. * Partner with others in executing analysis and evaluating systems on large and complex projects.
