Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join our team as a Credit Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your financial acumen and risk management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our Team This position will report to the Credit Manager and be based onsite at our headquarters in Wichita, KS. What You Will Do * Own a portfolio of customers, including: * Evaluating creditworthiness of potential and existing customers through detailed financial statement analysis and risk assessment procedures, * Continually analyzing financial data, counterparty risk, and risk vs reward, * Communicating findings and making recommendations to business partners, * Monitoring business activity versus approved limits, * Identifying credit mitigation solutions to enable profitable business activity. * Partner with groups across the organization to improve data accuracy, increase credit risk visibility, and optimize processes. * Apply Principle Based Management and the Koch Risk Philosophy. * Collaborate with and learn from a team of finance analysts. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience with, or understanding of, financial statement analysis * Experience with reporting and analytics * Experience using data to problem solve and develop a point of view * Experience prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment, as well as taking initiative and escalating issues What Will Put You Ahead * Experience with credit analysis, risk analysis, financial modeling, or economic research * Experience in data automation/transformation * Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or Business or related field This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
