Calling all 2nd year clinical Master's degree students seeking an outpatient internship with top-notch training, supervision, and community impact - this opportunity is for you! Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Master's-Level Intern in the CBHC/Outpatient Department at Behavioral Health Network! Clinical Interns learn to provide routine and as-needed direct clinical services in-person and via telehealth to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support. You will learn to provide clinical services including initial assessments, individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy, and coordination with team of providers. Clinical Interns learn about Evidence-Based Practice and goal-directed care while providing direct services to clients. They participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, continuing education, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team. Fostering your growth through professional development, regular clinical supervision and mentorship is one of the best parts of BHN. CBHC/OP Services is a large, dynamic division of BHN, and we often hire interns upon graduation. The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Springfield is a vibrant, collaborative urban setting which offers co-located mental health and substance abuse treatment to the community including urgent care, emergency services, evidence-based individual and group therapy, psychiatry, peer supports, care coordination and more using a clinical care team model. At the CBHC, we aim to help people achieve and maintain optimal real-world functioning and assistance in pursuing life goals and improving interpersonal relationships. What are we looking for in Clinical Interns? * Bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to apply! * Actively enrolled in 2nd year of a CSWE-accredited Master of Social Work program or 2nd year of a LMHC-track Master's program in Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, etc (required prior to start date). * Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults (preferred). * Team-based collaborative and goal-directed approach to client care (preferred). * Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (preferred). * Willing and able to be on-site in Springfield at least 20% of the time (required). * Familiarity with PC/Windows computers, Microsoft Office programs, and email systems (required). All CBHC staff must work some regular weekend/evening shifts and participate in shift coverage rotation in order ensure all clinic hours are staffed. How do I apply?
