The Public Sector Distribution Manager is responsible for enablement, joint activities and to drive to the performance goals and metrics set for Public Sector.  The candidate must develop executive-level relationships within the distributor, for the benefit of the  alliance's partners and the resellers for Public Sector. You will provide strategic and planning input. As a strategic thinker, you examine and analyze data to identify patterns and trends that represent new opportunities for Veeam Public Sector. You are a communicator, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver consistently against high standards. * Qualified candidates must reside within the DC, MD, or VA area* Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Partner Executive and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment and to understand your Partner business model, profitability levers, and strategic objectives * Lead & participate in impactful QBRs with meaningful and measurable action items, as well as follow-up * Manage the forecasting cadence, CRM data quality, productivity metrics, and business reporting for your assigned business objectives * Manage the annual and quarterly planning processes, including the development of business plans, operating models, resource allocation, territory set-up. Own data quality and enrichment of planning data used to set US Public Sector and goals * Quota based on Distributor revenue growth targets for focus Public Sector Qualifications: * Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience * At least 3 to 10 years of Public Sector/Distribution Channel sales experience * Experience with Public Sector Partners and contracts                                                                                                                               * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups  * Successful sales experience with a channel focused company                                                          * Proven results driving business objectives                                                                                      * Ability to pick up new technology concepts, creative thinker with the ability to contribute to demand generation plans to meet goals                    * Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities                                                                    * Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment                                                                           * Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric and govern                                                              * Experience with Veeam Alliance Partners strongly desired                                                                                      * Strong understanding of Veeam and/or similar technologies                                                              * Industry-based experience with data protection technologies in storage, network and/or cloud-based technologies strongly desired #LI-KS2 The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
