PURPOSE AND PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES Lead and coordinate all major business activities related to custom engineered products through integrated multifunctional team; drive/lead new business and product development; prepare Business Plan for business unit, including strategy for new and existing products, pricing structure, sales forecast, advertising, and promotion; meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets for business unit; support field sales through customer interface at key accounts; ensure that terms and conditions of new proposals and contracts conform to company policy and Business Unit strategic business plan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES - other duties may be assigned * Lead Multifunctional Team in Dynamic Business Environment. Build consensus and buy in for business priorities in pursuit of New Business. * Prepare New Business Proposals and be the direct program interface with customers during the development process. * Review requests for proposals and existing contracts to ensure that terms and conditions conform to company policy and the business unit strategic business plan. * Support field sales through customer interface at key accounts. * Prepare Annual and Five Year Business Plan for business unit, including strategy for new and existing products, pricing structure, sales forecast, advertising, and promotion. * Meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets for business unit. * Foster teamwork, generates enthusiasm, and promote can-do attitude. * Present Business Union results at quarterly corporate meetings. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * B.S. degree (technical discipline a plus); and * At least five (5) years of proven leadership of multifunctional teams; and * Sales exposure; Aerospace and Custom Manufacturing environment background a plus * Proven leadership experience with the ability to negotiate; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. * To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government. * Proficient in spoken and written English OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Understanding of total Company Operations. * Strong project management skills and presentation skills. * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Must be able to adapt quickly to change. * Should have basic understanding of contracts and financial statements. * Must be able to travel.
