We prefer the ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in broadcast news, and possesses an extremely excellent work ethic, displays a positive attitude, is a self-starter, and can immediately contribute to our award-winning news department. Responsibilities: * Write and voice news stories including outside of the newsroom. * Write news stories for the station websites. * Post new stories on social media. * Handles emergency news/weather in show; on call for weather disasters/breaking news. * Individual will perform various news duties as needed, with the potential of working overnight or early morning hours, and some anchoring as necessary Job Requirements: Qualifications: * 3-5 years' experience in medium-to-major market broadcast news * Highly organized with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. * Excellent On-Air delivery. * Must possess a valid state driver's license. * Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills. * Strong understanding of digital and social media. * Thorough understanding of web posting.
