Position Summary We're seeking a Brand PR Intern for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. They will support members of the Public Relations team. In this role, you will work to support all aspects of traditional media including product closet management, product ordering, admin tasks including billing support, general media relations, and event and campaign support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, extremely organized, collaborative, always thinking one step ahead, and interested in pursuing a career in the communications field. Job Responsibilities * Support the Brand PR Team in daily PR activities and operations * Maintain and organize the product closet to ensure items are accessible and well accounted for * Manage inventory and keep track of incoming and outgoing products * Handle the ordering of products for PR purposes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery for media and events * Assist with various administrative duties including billing support, document preparation, scheduling meetings, weekly agendas, capturing recaps/next steps, and managing correspondence * Support the PR team in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, handling queries, and helping develop press materials * Conduct research on publications and media outlets to identify opportunities for brand placement and coverage * Keep updated lists of contacts and media landscapes * Assist in planning and execution of PR events and campaign such as guest list management and on-site support during events * Work collaboratively with team members on various projects, demonstrating the ability to contribute effectively in a team setting * Monitor media daily, ensuring that all trackers are updated, and topline coverage is shared internally and updated in internal trackers * Manage team calendar with upcoming internal meetings, events, and media interviews/speaking engagements Job Requirements * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Communications, marketing or a related field (recent graduates considered) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and meet tight deadlines * Team player with the ability to roll up your sleeves and oversee projects independently from start to finish * General knowledge of or interest in the retail and fashion industry Pay $19/hour Benefits and Perks Healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs) Health Savings Account with Employer Funding Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare and Dependent care) Company-Paid Basic Life/AD&D insurance Company-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Voluntary Benefit Offerings (Voluntary Life/AD&D, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Accident) Employee Assistance Program Business Travel Accident Insurance 401(k) Savings Plan with discretionary company match and access to a financial advisor Vacation, paid holidays, floating holiday and sick days Employee discounts Free weekly catered lunch Dog-friendly office (available at select locations) Free gym access (available at select locations) Free swag giveaways Annual Holiday Party Invitations to pop-ups and other company events Complimentary daily office snacks and beverages SHEIN Distribution is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace environment.
