We are looking for people who have experience or are deeply interested in databases, distributed systems and cloud services. As a member of the Cloud Services Development teams, you will own the software design and development for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. Our team is the centralized database store for Oracle Public Cloud. Here are some recommended skills that will help you succeed at your job: * 6+ years of experience (ideally 10+ years) delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems and/or cloud services * Strong knowledge of C, C++ or Java, and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc. * Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems and cloud services fundamentals * Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures * Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies especially in cloud * Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills * Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's problems.
