KOMO-TV (ABC) Seattle is searching for a reporter who owns the daily story. We are focused on enterprise reporting that holds the powerful accountable and serves viewers. You are expected to develop sources and pitch original stories. Also, you will multi-task in a 'digital-first' environment, breaking stories on social/digital platforms as well as on-air. The ideal candidate has a passion for news and the skill to always deliver impactful, original stories. DUTIES OF THIS JOB INCLUDE: * Enterprising stories with depth, developing sources. * Managing time and meeting multiple on-air and digital deadlines. * Working with producers to deliver great reporting and content on daily assignments. * Collaborating with producers and managers. The hourly compensation range for this role is $38.46 to $43.95. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
