Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biochemist in West Point, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical manufacturer. Responsibilities for the Biochemist: * Utilize skills with Elisa, Capillary Electrophoresis, and UV-VIS to assist in the production and development of vaccines * Support process Improvement projects such as standardization of test methods and the execution of test methods as well as assay validation/ qualification * Perform deviation and OOS investigations and carry our experiments in support of these investigations * Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and procedures Qualifications for the Biochemist: * A minimum of 1 year of related experience * Hands on experience using Capillary Electrophoresis, Elisa, SDS-Page and UV-Vis * Experience conducting deviation and OOS investigation's * Technical writing experience preferred * Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field Compensation for the Biochemist: * Pay Rate: $35-40 Per Hour * 1 Year Contract with possible extension * Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP Keywords: ELISA, Biochemistry, SDS PAGE, Gel Electrophoresis, UV-Vis, GMP, Laboratory, Investigations, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical #LI-JM1 #LI-ONSITE
