The Accounting and Financial Analyst Intern will shadow and support Financial Analysts and Billing Specialists in maintaining and supporting the corporate accounting function. This role will analyze small to medium amounts of financial data and prepare various accounting and financial reports based on data and research-backed opinions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Helps team in conducting weekly cash analysis, accounts receivable billings for clients, track received payments, and updates accounts receivables. * Assist with accounts payables invoices for vendors, audit coding on vender invoices, and verify with field engineers that the materials were received, or the service was complete. * Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. * Coordinate the approval of all vendor invoices for the BU apart from equipment department invoices. * Ensure all vendor invoices have the proper coding, tax rates, lien waivers, freight charges, retention, and credits. * Maintains documentation for business and system processes for assigned responsibilities. * Runs various reports for quarterly reviews and annual audit. * Assist with AR accounting functions including creating accounts receivable billings for clients, and tracking received payments. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS: * Current 4-year University student, studying Construction Management, Business, Finance or Accounting. BENEFITS AND PAY: * $17-$22/hourly, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
