Our interns will have the flexibility of working 2 days remotely, and 3 days in office per week at one of our state-of-the-art offices in Chicago, Kansas City, and New York City. To be eligible for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place. The UX team is hiring for a UI/UX Designer intern: The UX team at Cboe is growing to be the innovation backbone of the company, through extensive cross-departmental and user research, we gather valuable insights that drive our projects forward, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Crafting reliable applications and engaging mock-ups to solve complex challenges while supporting developers and the Design Systems they rely on. The UX intern will have a real-world experience collaborating with senior designers, stakeholders, software engineers and be able to contribute to our growth and company. Your responsibilities and learning objectives will be: * Collaborate and engage with the company design system expansion. * Research and produce artifacts on specific application projects. * Create engaging mockups/prototypes for the site while communicating with the business, stakeholders and handoff to development. * The intern will be supported by a UX designer throughout the duration of the internship. The ideal candidate has: * Must be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in the " User Experience Design" field (UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or similar) with a strong interest in the financial markets, and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship takes place. * Ability to work on multiple assignments, work well on a team or on your own, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills. * Knowledge or experience working with Design systems and Design Tokens. You'll really stand out with: * Accessibility knowledge. * Figma expertise and prototype creation. * Great sense of aesthetics.
