Position Profile Weaver is looking for an individual to fill a Senior Systems Administrator role in our growing internal IT department. This person will primarily engage in the design, deployment, and ongoing administration of new and existing IT Infrastructure systems. A key focus will be on supporting Microsoft Azure, which includes Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. This focus also extends to associated services such as Proofpoint E-mail Protection, hybrid connections to on-premises Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint Servers, and other systems as necessary. Support is also required after hours as dictated by projects and incidents. Adherence to compliance controls and policies established and monitored from the corporate office in Texas. Principal Accountabilities * Microsoft Teams administration to include design and implementation of E-911, office locations, network subnets, trusted IP addresses as well as call queues, attendants, and routing. * Hybrid Microsoft Exchange administration - Exchange Online and 2019. * Proofpoint E-mail Protection administration including mail quarantine, firewall rules, and message encryption. * E-mail signature administration to design, create, and modify rules in Code2. * Perform a variety of standard administration duties related to common Microsoft Windows Server roles, Distributed File Servers, VMware and Azure virtual environments, shared storage arrays, data backup/recovery, and e-discovery. * Evaluate IT Infrastructure systems to report on potential security risks, performance degradation, or changes to resource requirements. * Monitor ticketing system for new unassigned activity. Respond to and resolve, or escalate/redirect, IT Infrastructure requests. * Respond to server and network monitoring system alerts for disk space and service outages. * Participate in disaster recovery planning and incident response. * Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks. * Maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Some travel required. Actively on-call for emergencies. To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required: * Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. * 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or equivalent lead administrator role. * 2+ years of experience across multiple IT disciplines (for example, Networking, hardware, Windows desktop and Server OS, Azure, Active Directory, GPO, virtualization). * Expert knowledge of the following: * Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive. * Traditional Active Directory Domain Services and Exchange servers. * Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems. * PowerShell scripting to automate or accelerate a variety of tasks. * Demonstrated ability to: * Analyze and problem-solve, diagnose problems across multiple disciplines. * Plan for and support multiple concurrent projects, manage time effectively, keep manager and team informed of progress and challenges. * Accurately document and implement systems requirements and configurations. * Travel occasionally for firm and team meetings or system assessments and implementations. * Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software related to this field. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: * Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. * Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. * Experience working in an agile, team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Knowledge of the following preferred: * Server and network hardware, storage arrays. * VMware vSphere * Data Backup & Recovery * Electronic Data Discovery * Automation tools such as Adaxes or Ansible.
