Salesforce is looking for a Social Media Manager to activate, educate, and inspire audiences for our flagship brand, Sales Cloud. As our social lead, this role serves as the brand custodian and social champion, driving social strategy and execution that grows our audience and engagement. This is a key role on a team that is paving the way for how marketing is done at Salesforce! Responsibilities * Own Sales Cloud's social strategy and editorial calendars across X and LinkedIn. * Manage day-to-day execution of social media calendar and audience engagement, from ideation to publication and community management. * Write copy for Sales Cloud social media channels that captures the voice of Sales Cloud. * Develop social plans for major product launches, events, and initiatives. * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify content opportunities and execute on social campaigns, including product marketing, demand generation, events, content, and creative teams. * Work with external influencers to harness their expertise, creating and promoting content and events. * Report on social media performance to internal teams and partners, consistently providing recommendations, updates, and improvements based on findings. * Drive the production and growth of the Sales Cloud LinkedIn newsletter. * Stay attuned to the digital pulse and monitor the social landscape to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and upcoming innovations. Experience/Skills Required * 5+ years experience managing social media marketing for a large brand. * Deep working knowledge of social best practices across popular social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. * Outstanding writing skills and ability to craft compelling posts for complex stories. * Examples of work demonstrating the ability to create fun, high-quality, engaging innovative social media content and campaigns. * Creative thinker with an innate visual aesthetic. * Strong stakeholder management and project management skills. * Hands-on knowledge of digital media tools - digital photography, basic Photoshop/photo editing skills, knowledge of apps commonly used for creating social content; Video creation/editing skills are a bonus. * Willingness to adapt and flex as our team's needs and priorities evolve. Salesforce welcomes all. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,600 to $152,200. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
