Job Overview
The Accounting Clerk works closely with the accounting team and serves as a primary support for all accounting functions within our organization including reporting, preparing statements, maintaining financial records, performing audits etc. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of administrative principles.

Responsibilities
Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements
Processing and recording transactions
Updating the general ledger
Reconciling accounts
Performing audits
Maintaining financial records
Providing general administrative support
Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1-3 years of previous experience in accounting experience (Preferably in HVAC)
Understanding of basic accounting principles, processes and reports
Strong mathematical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, maintain schedule, and keep information organized
Ability to work independently on assigned duties
Ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadliness
Integrity and discretion regarding company financial data
Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Sage Intacct and Service Titan (preferred)
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment.
