Responsibilities: * Work with large-scale datasets to solve complex business and technical problems in gaming through analytics, forecasting, machine learning, recommender system, generative AI, experimentation, causal inference, and econometrics. * Collaborate with studios as well as product and engineering teams to explore and develop data-informed strategies in gaming business and drive the implementation of solutions to generate business value. * Interact cross-functionally with various teams and provide actionable business insights to internal and external stakeholders. * Constantly learn the latest data science, ML and generative AI knowledge and technologies, effectively utilize advanced technologies and tools for application attempts, and explore innovation in gaming application research. * Actively participate in technical sharing, documentation construction, cross-team communication and collaboration. Requirements: * M.S., or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience. * Experience in statistical analysis (probabilities, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, time series analysis, predictive modeling, A/B experiments, etc.). * Experience with building complex data products and machine learning systems on large datasets preferred. * Experience programming in SQL, Python, or related languages. * Excellent communication, collaboration, execution capabilities, and keen business acumen. * Willingness to international travel for studio collaboration and communication with external stakeholders. * Passionate about games and the gaming industry. * Consulting background is welcome. Location State(s) California The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $124,800 to $260,400 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
