Job Description * Collect and preprocess data specifically regarding metallic scrap procurement, ensuring high data quality and integrity. * Assist in the implementation and possible modifications of existing data models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from procurement datasets. * Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and outcomes to ensure reproducibility and transparency. * Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships. * Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions. * Communicate findings and insights effectively through concise reports, visualizations, and presentations for stakeholders. Qualifications * Actively enrolled working towards or recently graduated earning a Bachelor's or master's degree in data analytics, mathematics or computer science or a related field with interest or emphasis on data analytics (such as Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics/Statistics). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Ability to merge technical expertise with business acumen to generate effective solutions * Base knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office software. * Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
