Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Backshift Nuclear Operator to work in our Utilities and Infrastructure department. Our team works a rotating 4-12 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC). You will operate, maintain, and repair MFC site utility systems and site facility equipment. You report directly to the manager of the Utilities and Infrastructure department. Responsibilities Include: * Operate MFC boilers and maintain and repair steam and condensate system piping and valves. * Operate and repair MFC potable and fire water system pumps and piping systems. * Support a strong conduct of operations program. Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in boiler operation. * Availability and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including any shifts covering holidays and weekends. * This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Job Information: * Salary: $39.43/hr (Rate can vary based upon individual work location, clearances, and qualifications. Rates are accurate for current posting and subject to change These are bargaining unit positions.) * You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment. * TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
