Main duties and responsibilities The Recruiting Coordinator provides full administrative support, including the candidate identification, initial interview, and post-offer onboarding portion of the candidate life cycle. The position supports the coordination and facilitation of all aspects of candidate interviews, including events, phone/web interviews, and escorting of onsite candidates. The position coordinates review of electronic applications within the TalentSoft applicant tracking system and performs required actions. Provide hands-on support for new hires and hiring managers to ensure all post-offer tasks are completed in a timely manner. Prepare for and answer new hire questions pertaining to preparation for day one orientation and serves as a welcome ambassador at new hire orientation to assist with I-9 processing and start date compliance. The Recruiting Coordinator interacts frequently with HR staff, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner, and compliance with Kronospan processes and government regulations. Recruiter may be assigned sites in other geographic regions, requiring some overnight travel and remote work from the Alabama HR office. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in HR Management preferred. * 1-3+ years' experience in a recruiting role preferred * Experience with a high volume of tasks and requests * Experience with prioritizing, multi-tasking, and problem-solving in a deadline- oriented environment * Experience and solid exposure to recruiting and sourcing program management and execution * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English * Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside candidates and clients * Ability to work autonomously and under pressure to meet constant deadlines * Ability to remain objective and non-reactive when handling emotive issues * Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) * Solid ability to conduct diverse types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.) * Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, r reference check etc.) * Ability to organize skills assessment activities * Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) * Hands-on experience with recruiting web sites and data bases What we offer As a company dedicated to its associates, we offer numerous benefits and advantages: * Growth opportunities, domestic and international, with the world's leading producer of wood panel products * Work in a diverse, inclusive environment with colleagues from around the world * A highly competitive benefits program including affordable medical, dental and vision plans * Company paid life and short & long term disability plans * Supplemental life, critical illness and accident plans for you and your family * 401 (k) retirement plan with company match * Paid time off including a generous paid vacation plan and holidays after 90 days * "Life of Career" training opportunities through our global or local KronoAcademy * Uniform & reimbursement for safety boots & prescription safety glasses and company provided tools WHAT TO SEND OUR WAY * A cover letter along with your Resume, highlighting your education, experience and skills.
