The base salary for this position is $50,000 - $80,000. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: * Interview clients to gain a basic understanding of their financial affairs. * Review financial information supplied for accuracy. * Prepare taxes for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts. * Answer client tax related questions. * Become proficient on the wide range of services that B. Riley Wealth and B. Riley Financial offer * Be proactive in seeking opportunities for the firm to offer financial solutions beyond tax preparation. Educate clients on the wide range of services our company offers. * Introduce clients to financial professionals to further servicing of clients and increase firm's wallet share. * Other duties as assigned by the Tax Branch Manager Education, Experience and Skills Required: * Minimum three years' experience preparing taxes * Experience with Ultra Tax CS * Experience working directly with clients and ability to clearly explain accounting and tax matters to clients * Knowledge of estates, trusts and small businesses a plus * Professional, courteous and concise communication skills; active listener * Ability to pay close attention to detail and make rules-based, analytical decisions * Highly organized and proactive thinker able to meet deadlines inherent in the tax and accounting profession B.
